DIY

Last week there was a lot of action in my bedroom. The sweating, the grunting, the screaming, the banging! That's right, I was putting together the new dresser I got from a swedish furniture store that shall remain nameless.

(Wow, even though it's taken me this long to get the use of my hammered-up index finger to type up that joke, it was worth the wait, eh?)

Other than that, not a lot's been going on with me. Oh, except that today was supposed to be my last day at the library-esque office job, but of course the lady who has been off all this time has postponed her return until November 1, just my bloody luck.

Man, it's tough when they get all excited when they tell you you get to stay on longer at the boringest job in the world, and you have to pretend like you aren't crying inside. I hate that part of the job. Still, I'll get to pay off the damn dresser sooner, I guess.

Anyway, I've been dead tired lately and what with this past Monday being a holiday and all (Happy Thanksgiving, by the way) I have not felt like writing. I was hoping that next week I'd have lots and lots of time to post, but that's not gonna happen now, is it? Well, I guess we'll see. I do have a few things I want to write about, don't you worry my friends. Don't you worry...
