Gather 'Round the Yule Blog
Yo, yo, yo kiddies! Who's the awesomest, most cutting edge, right jolly old elf in the blogosphere? You guessed it! Seems the S-man himself has gotten a myspace account and is chronicling his lead-up to the big day.
But don't worry, it isn't filled with angst-ridden rants about reindeer who just don't understand him and Mrs. S who is totally on his back, like, ALL the time. It's pretty innocent, and it's filled with lots of decorating ideas that utilize the ever-popular and multi-talented toilet paper roll (something my blog has decidedly lacked since it's inception, I'm afraid).
Santa was also smart enough to disable comments so that there will be no flame-wars about which claymation Christmas classic is better, The Year Without a Santa Claus or Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. (It's totally TYWASC, by the way. For my money, Heat and Snow Miser completely wail on the "I wanna be a dentist" kid every time.)
Anyway, I'm sure there are about 8,000 of these blogs now, which shouldn't confuse kids any more than the 8,000 versions of Santa they see every year in shopping malls and on street corners. It's all part of the magic, right? Sure it is!
Well, I'm off to feed the reindeer!
