Another May 2-4 Gone
Well, the Victoria Day weekend has come and gone and we're all another year older. Are we wiser? Well, we spent almost every day staying up until stupid hours of the morning (5:30 was the latest) and drinking and playing board games. So, no. Not wiser.
Although, my two friends and I stayed up arguing about the present situation between the United States and Iraq, so maybe we're growing up a little bit. Of course, we were all drunk and none of us is really all that well-informed about any of the issues, but we all had our opinions and our opinions MUST be heard. We didn't solve any of the world's problems, but we did get to yell at each other a lot, so that was fun.
Anyway, I've been avoiding trying to get a job and I believe my rest period has come to a close. Monday morning I'm going to start looking for a job for real. I believe I have said that before, but this time I really mean it. My money is running low and I've got to get the old coffers back up to, well, not 'full' exactly, but 'cover this month's rent' would suit me nicely.
I do have one or two updates I've been working on that I will post sometime next week. Also, I have been trying to offer comments, but it doesn't seem to be working for me. And I ain't no html whiz. If I were I'd be able to post links to some of my friends who have linked me (the titular Joe I feel has been sorely neglected right from the beginning). Maybe one day I'll get some kind geek to help me figure out some stuff. Maybe...
Anyway, hope the Canadians out there enjoyed their long weekend last week and hope all the American friends enjoy this coming long weekend. (As for the British friends, I have no idea what your holidays are like, but I hope you enjoy all of them that you get whenever it is that you get them!)
